# Shiliew vs Faceless

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Shiliew at 88% against Faceless's 0%. Shiliew also leads on rating (4.1 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (26 vs 2). Faceless's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shiliew sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per month and Faceless sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shiliew holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shiliew has 26 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 88% of Shiliew's written reviews are positive against 0% of Faceless's.

Shiliew ships an update every 2 months, Faceless every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
