# Lingocard vs Langumax

The clearest difference is update cadence: Langumax at every 5 days against Lingocard's every 2 months. Langumax also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lingocard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Langumax sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lingocard ships an update every 2 months, Langumax every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
