# GlassBot2 vs Paper VPN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GlassBot2 at 100% against Paper VPN's 45%. GlassBot2 also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). Paper VPN's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 2.3) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 14 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Paper VPN sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. GlassBot2 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Paper VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Paper VPN has 400 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of GlassBot2's written reviews are positive against 45% of Paper VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GlassBot2 ships an update every 14 months, Paper VPN every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
