# GlassBot2 vs Hypershell+

The clearest difference is rating: Hypershell+ at 4.0 against GlassBot2's 3.0. Hypershell+ also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 14 months) and ratings volume (54 vs 4). GlassBot2's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 60%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hypershell+ holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hypershell+ has 54 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of GlassBot2's written reviews are positive against 60% of Hypershell+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GlassBot2 ships an update every 14 months, Hypershell+ monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
