# McDonald’s vs Alideda

The clearest difference is rating: Alideda at 4.5 against McDonald’s's 3.4. Alideda also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). McDonald’s's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (6.8K vs 69). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Alideda holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: McDonald’s has 6.8K ratings behind it against 69, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 50% and 50% positive.

McDonald’s ships an update fortnightly, Alideda every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
