# McDonald’s vs StepBurger Client App

The clearest difference is ads: StepBurger Client App at none against McDonald’s's shown. StepBurger Client App also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). McDonald’s's advantage is ratings volume (6.7K vs 9) and chart position (#106 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
