# LuckyCam vs CAR

The clearest difference is rating: CAR at 5.0 against LuckyCam's 1.8. CAR also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). LuckyCam's advantage is ratings volume (110 vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CAR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LuckyCam has 110 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LuckyCam ships an update every 2 months, CAR every 10 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
