# Counter vs Day Dial

The clearest difference is rating: Day Dial at 5.0 against Counter's 4.6. Day Dial also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 79%). Counter's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (62 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Counter sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and Day Dial sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
