# PSA Set Registry vs CGC APP

The clearest difference is monetization model: CGC APP at free against PSA Set Registry's free with in-app purchases. CGC APP also leads on review sentiment (94% vs 75%). PSA Set Registry's advantage is ratings volume (4.5K vs 106) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for PSA Set Registry against 4.9 for CGC APP. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PSA Set Registry has 4.5K ratings behind it against 106, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 75% of PSA Set Registry's written reviews are positive against 94% of CGC APP's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
