# MCX vs Stackpad

The clearest difference is update cadence: Stackpad at every 2 days against MCX's every 3 months. MCX's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MCX ships an update every 3 months, Stackpad every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
