# Review Note vs Vulpe

The clearest difference is rating: Review Note at 5.0 against Vulpe's 4.3. Review Note also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). Vulpe's advantage is review sentiment (95% vs 75%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Review Note sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and Vulpe sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Review Note holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Review Note's written reviews are positive against 95% of Vulpe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Review Note ships an update every 3 weeks, Vulpe every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
