# Microsoft Planner vs Innovation Park

The clearest difference is rating: Innovation Park at 5.0 against Microsoft Planner's 4.6. Innovation Park also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Microsoft Planner's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Innovation Park holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microsoft Planner has 13K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Microsoft Planner ships an update every 6 weeks, Innovation Park every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
