# Molekule vs PEPPER

Molekule and PEPPER both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 83% of PEPPER's written reviews are positive against 17% of Molekule's. PEPPER also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Molekule's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (12K vs 22). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PEPPER sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.90 per month. Molekule asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Molekule against 4.3 for PEPPER. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Molekule has 12K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two.
