# MultiChoice Fieldtrials vs TeleTV

The clearest difference is monetization model: MultiChoice Fieldtrials at free against TeleTV's subscription. MultiChoice Fieldtrials also leads on rating (4.0 vs 3.7) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.1). TeleTV's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (52 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MultiChoice Fieldtrials holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TeleTV has 52 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MultiChoice Fieldtrials ships an update every 3 months, TeleTV every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
