# Memorize Texts vs Elocution+

The clearest difference is rating: Elocution+ at 5.0 against Memorize Texts's 4.6. Elocution+ also leads on iOS requirement (15.2 vs 17.0). Memorize Texts's advantage is ratings volume (2.6K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Memorize Texts sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Elocution+ sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Elocution+ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Memorize Texts has 2.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Memorize Texts ships an update every 5 weeks, Elocution+ every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
