# Memorize Texts vs Speed reading

Memorize Texts and Speed reading both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Memorize Texts's written reviews are positive against 25% of Speed reading's. Memorize Texts also leads on ratings volume (2.6K vs 143). Speed reading's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Memorize Texts sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Speed reading sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Memorize Texts against 4.7 for Speed reading.
