# Cave FRVR vs To Mars

The clearest difference is review sentiment: To Mars at 100% against Cave FRVR's 53%. To Mars also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). Cave FRVR's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (238 vs 6). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cave FRVR sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. To Mars asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cave FRVR holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cave FRVR has 238 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of Cave FRVR's written reviews are positive against 100% of To Mars's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cave FRVR ships an update every 2 months, To Mars every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
