# KiTplayer vs Flex·Connect

The clearest difference is rating: Flex·Connect at 5.0 against KiTplayer's 4.5. Flex·Connect also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). KiTplayer's advantage is ratings volume (462 vs 1) and review sentiment (34% vs 19%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flex·Connect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KiTplayer has 462 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of KiTplayer's written reviews are positive against 19% of Flex·Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KiTplayer ships an update weekly, Flex·Connect every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
