# FVCrew vs AeroADSB

The clearest difference is rating: FVCrew at 3.0 against AeroADSB's 1.7. FVCrew also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). AeroADSB's advantage is ratings volume (28 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AeroADSB sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. FVCrew asks for nothing beyond the download.

FVCrew holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AeroADSB has 28 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of FVCrew's written reviews are positive against 3% of AeroADSB's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FVCrew ships an update every 3 months, AeroADSB every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 5, 2026.
