# Earth's Core vs EarthPi

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Earth's Core at none against EarthPi's 1. Earth's Core also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%). EarthPi's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 70 months) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EarthPi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Earth's Core asks for nothing beyond the download.

EarthPi holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 15 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Earth's Core's written reviews are positive against 67% of EarthPi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Earth's Core ships an update every 70 months, EarthPi every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
