# ClevCalc vs LMSEDK

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: LMSEDK at none against ClevCalc's 3. LMSEDK also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). ClevCalc's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 23 months) and ratings volume (14K vs 2). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ClevCalc sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. LMSEDK asks for nothing beyond the download.

LMSEDK holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ClevCalc has 14K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ClevCalc ships an update monthly, LMSEDK every 23 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
