# Ruya vs Druid Tale

The clearest difference is rating: Ruya at 4.8 against Druid Tale's 4.0. Ruya also leads on ratings volume (220 vs 1). Druid Tale's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 88%) and price ($0.49 vs $1.99). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Ruya costs $1.99 and Druid Tale $0.49 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ruya holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ruya has 220 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Ruya's written reviews are positive against 100% of Druid Tale's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ruya ships an update every 2 months, Druid Tale every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
