# YGCamera vs HIDVCAM

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: YGCamera at none against HIDVCAM's 10. YGCamera also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (2.1 vs 1.8). HIDVCAM's advantage is ratings volume (57 vs 7). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HIDVCAM sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. YGCamera asks for nothing beyond the download.

YGCamera holds the better App Store score, 2.1 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HIDVCAM has 57 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of YGCamera's written reviews are positive against 14% of HIDVCAM's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

YGCamera ships an update fortnightly, HIDVCAM every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
