# miniDot vs S Go

The clearest difference is rating: S Go at 4.6 against miniDot's 4.2. miniDot's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 70%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. miniDot sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and S Go sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $15.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

S Go holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13 and 31 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of miniDot's written reviews are positive against 70% of S Go's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

miniDot ships an update every 2 months, S Go monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
