# Parking Kitty vs Trace Viewer

Parking Kitty and Trace Viewer both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Trace Viewer's written reviews are positive against 61% of Parking Kitty's. Trace Viewer also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 35 months). Parking Kitty's advantage is ratings volume (8.8K vs 5) and iOS requirement (13 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Parking Kitty against 5.0 for Trace Viewer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Parking Kitty has 8.8K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
