# Parking Kitty vs Veras

The clearest difference is rating: Parking Kitty at 4.9 against Veras's 4.0. Parking Kitty also leads on ratings volume (9.3K vs 59) and iOS requirement (13 vs 16.4). Veras's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 35 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Parking Kitty holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Parking Kitty has 9.3K ratings behind it against 59, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Parking Kitty's written reviews are positive against 67% of Veras's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Parking Kitty ships an update every 35 months, Veras every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
