# Easy Voice Recorder vs Summary

The clearest difference is update cadence: Summary at every 6 days against Easy Voice Recorder's every 3 months. Summary also leads on chart position (#10 vs unranked) and ratings volume (56K vs 11K). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Easy Voice Recorder sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Summary sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Easy Voice Recorder against 4.7 for Summary. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Summary has 56K ratings behind it against 11K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 78% of Easy Voice Recorder's written reviews are positive against 72% of Summary's.

Easy Voice Recorder ships an update every 3 months, Summary every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
