# Cookie Build Network vs Buddies

The clearest difference is rating: Buddies at 4.8 against Cookie Build Network's 4.0. Buddies also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 4). Cookie Build Network's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (100% vs 91%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cookie Build Network sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Buddies sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Buddies holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Buddies has 1.3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Cookie Build Network's written reviews are positive against 91% of Buddies's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cookie Build Network ships an update weekly, Buddies every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
