# AutoCollectSpectrum vs Loop

The clearest difference is update cadence: Loop at every 3 weeks against AutoCollectSpectrum's every 23 months. AutoCollectSpectrum's advantage is iOS requirement (13.6 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AutoCollectSpectrum ships an update every 23 months, Loop every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
