# 快记 vs Roste

快记 and Roste both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Roste's written reviews are positive against 50% of 快记's. Roste also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). 快记's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 14.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 快记 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Roste asks for nothing beyond the download.

快记 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of 快记's written reviews are positive against 100% of Roste's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

快记 ships an update every 3 months, Roste every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
