# Tenex vs 2gathr

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 2gathr at 100% against Tenex's 33%. 2gathr also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1). Tenex's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tenex holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 2gathr has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Tenex's written reviews are positive against 100% of 2gathr's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tenex ships an update every 3 months, 2gathr every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
