# Primed Mind vs Evolournal

The clearest difference is rating: Primed Mind at 4.9 against Evolournal's 4.5. Primed Mind also leads on ratings volume (509 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 18.0). Evolournal's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Primed Mind sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Evolournal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Primed Mind holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Primed Mind has 509 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Primed Mind ships an update fortnightly, Evolournal every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
