# Pro Camera vs Focos

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Pro Camera at none against Focos's 12. Pro Camera also leads on review sentiment (59% vs 50%). Focos's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focos sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Pro Camera asks for nothing beyond the download.

Focos holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focos has 51K ratings behind it against 4.3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Pro Camera's written reviews are positive against 50% of Focos's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
