# Pro Camera vs DualCap

The clearest difference is rating: DualCap at 5.0 against Pro Camera's 4.4. DualCap also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). Pro Camera's advantage is ratings volume (4.3K vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pro Camera sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per year and DualCap sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DualCap holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pro Camera has 4.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pro Camera ships an update every 2 weeks, DualCap every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
