# Pro Camera vs j. Camera

The clearest difference is review sentiment: j. Camera at 100% against Pro Camera's 59%. j. Camera also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and ads (none vs shown). Pro Camera's advantage is ratings volume (4.3K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

j. Camera holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pro Camera has 4.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
