# Gold Mountain vs Vector

The clearest difference is rating: Vector at 5.0 against Gold Mountain's 4.3. Vector also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). Gold Mountain's advantage is ratings volume (136 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gold Mountain sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Vector asks for nothing beyond the download.

Vector holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gold Mountain has 136 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Gold Mountain ships an update every 3 weeks, Vector every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
