# Beelinguapp vs Scribd

The clearest difference is rating: Beelinguapp at 4.4 against Scribd's 2.8. Beelinguapp also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (40% vs 14%). Scribd's advantage is chart position (#140 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Beelinguapp sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $6.49 per month and Scribd sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Beelinguapp holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Beelinguapp has 2.3K ratings behind it against 275, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 40% of Beelinguapp's written reviews are positive against 14% of Scribd's.

Beelinguapp ships an update every 9 days, Scribd fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
