# NDT vs Night Vision

The clearest difference is rating: Night Vision at 4.1 against NDT's 1.0. Night Vision also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (519 vs 1). NDT's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.1 vs 18). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Night Vision sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. NDT asks for nothing beyond the download.

Night Vision holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Night Vision has 519 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NDT ships an update every 5 months, Night Vision fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
