# CNetCam vs PTZ

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PTZ at 100% against CNetCam's 33%. CNetCam's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CNetCam ships an update weekly, PTZ monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
