# YamDiet vs PF

The clearest difference is rating: YamDiet at 5.0 against PF's 3.0. YamDiet also leads on ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YamDiet holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of YamDiet's written reviews are positive against 92% of PF's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

YamDiet ships an update every 9 days, PF every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
