# GTW vs HarnessWorks

The clearest difference is price: HarnessWorks at Free against GTW's $5.99. HarnessWorks also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 55%) and rating (5.0 vs 3.1). GTW's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (32 vs 2). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

HarnessWorks is free to download; GTW costs $5.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HarnessWorks holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GTW has 32 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 55% of GTW's written reviews are positive against 100% of HarnessWorks's.

GTW ships an update every 3 weeks, HarnessWorks every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
