# Flora vs FocusFlight

The clearest difference is monetization model: Flora at free with in-app purchases against FocusFlight's subscription. Flora also leads on ratings volume (83K vs 9.8K). FocusFlight's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flora sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and FocusFlight sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Flora against 4.8 for FocusFlight. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flora has 83K ratings behind it against 9.8K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 89% and 89% positive.

Flora ships an update fortnightly, FocusFlight every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
