# 亿方云 vs kodbox

The clearest difference is rating: kodbox at 4.0 against 亿方云's 2.3. kodbox also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.4). 亿方云's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 50%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

kodbox holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of 亿方云's written reviews are positive against 50% of kodbox's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

亿方云 ships an update fortnightly, kodbox every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
