# FootPrint vs GoPocket

The clearest difference is ratings volume: FootPrint at 395 against GoPocket's 1. FootPrint also leads on device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.4). GoPocket's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FootPrint sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.49 per year and GoPocket sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GoPocket holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FootPrint has 395 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FootPrint ships an update every 3 days, GoPocket every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
