# Twist vs Jimmy Key

The clearest difference is rating: Twist at 4.3 against Jimmy Key's 3.7. Twist also leads on ratings volume (24 vs 3). Jimmy Key's advantage is review sentiment (48% vs 12%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Twist holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Twist has 24 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of Twist's written reviews are positive against 48% of Jimmy Key's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Twist ships an update every 3 weeks, Jimmy Key every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
