# FunDo Pro vs XRunning

The clearest difference is ads: FunDo Pro at none against XRunning's shown. FunDo Pro also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (22% vs 9%). XRunning's advantage is rating (2.9 vs 2.6). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

XRunning holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 2.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 143 and 51 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of FunDo Pro's written reviews are positive against 9% of XRunning's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FunDo Pro ships an update every 6 weeks, XRunning every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
