# Ulysses vs Word Cloud Generator

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ulysses at 67% against Word Cloud Generator's 25%. Ulysses also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (2.2K vs 2). Word Cloud Generator's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ulysses sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Word Cloud Generator asks for nothing beyond the download.

Word Cloud Generator holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ulysses has 2.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Ulysses's written reviews are positive against 25% of Word Cloud Generator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
