# Trigon FRVR vs Flip Runner

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Trigon FRVR at 100% against Flip Runner's 54%. Trigon FRVR also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Flip Runner's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (38K vs 27). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trigon FRVR sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Flip Runner sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flip Runner holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flip Runner has 38K ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Trigon FRVR's written reviews are positive against 54% of Flip Runner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Trigon FRVR ships an update monthly, Flip Runner every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
