# Pizzaville vs Mezcla

The clearest difference is rating: Pizzaville at 4.6 against Mezcla's 4.0. Pizzaville also leads on ratings volume (9 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). Mezcla's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pizzaville holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pizzaville has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pizzaville ships an update every 6 weeks, Mezcla every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
