# Fix vs Axon

Fix and Axon both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Fix's written reviews are positive against 40% of Axon's. Fix also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs subscription) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Axon's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fix holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Axon has 1.3K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Fix's written reviews are positive against 40% of Axon's.

Fix ships an update every 5 months, Axon every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
